Eastern Region Regional Execs Convention 2024:

September 13th-15th, Home-Housed, Charlotte, NC

ATTENDEES:  All regional and chapter board members from Southeast, North Carolina and Virginia Councils along with selected emerging leaders. 

PURPOSE: To bring together Eastern Region leadership for a weekend of training, education, goal setting, and planning.  

COST AND REGISTRATION: The cost of the convention is $329 (not including transportation). Registration is open and will close on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD AT MIDNIGHT!

SCHOLARSHIPS: If you are requesting scholarship money, please do not register online until awards are announced. The deadline to submit scholarship applications is Sunday, August 25th at midnight. 

The scholarship form must be completed online at: https://bbyo.org/scholarship-form. Each family will be contacted, via email, by the regional office with the amount of scholarship awarded the week of August 26th.Once you accept the scholarship, the regional office will register you for the convention and then you can pay the balance.

  • Make sure you are answering all questions!

  • Refunds will not be given if you cancel the week of convention


REQUIRED FORMS: BBYO partners with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system.  All participants and parents are required to complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have registered for the convention, you will receive an email inviting you to join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. These forms provide dietary, medical and other important information. Teens will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile.

Arriving Late/Leaving Early: If you are arriving late or leaving early for any reason please fill out this form to let us know.

SUPERVISION: The convention will be staffed by BBYO professionals and chapter advisors. There will be 1 staff person for every 15 teens.  

ACCOMMODATIONS AND WHAT TO BRING: Please bring toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, nice clothes for Friday night Shabbat, a laptop, a notebook and clothing for inclement weather. A full packing list will go out the week before convention. 

New This Year! We are excited to bring back our first home-housed convention since COVID. This means we are counting on our Charlotte families to host our out of town teens. IF YOU ARE FROM CHARLOTTE, PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM TO LET US KNOW HOW MANY TEENS YOU ARE ABLE TO HOST. All events will take place at the Levine JCC but teens will sleep with their host families. It is important you fill out all registration questions so that we can make the right housing assignments.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE/TRANSPORTATION: We are currently working on finalizing transportation from each city and will be in touch prior to convention about transportation details. Transportation cost is not included in the convention fee.
