Event Details

Join teens from accross Illinois for a weekend full of connecting with new and old friends, building community, hearing from guest speakers, celebrating our graduating seniors, taking part in electing our next Regional Board, being a part of our first ever Spring Convention Track Programs, and SO MUCH MORE!

NEW!  This year we will be offering three track options as part of the weekends programming. You will be with your tracks for part of the day Saturday, but there will still be plenty of time to connect with others not in your track. Each track will have programming and include a guest speaker! Learn more about the different options here before registering.

Innovate: This track is all about making your own path! Learn about entrepreneurship, business, and more.

Creativity: This track focuses on music and art through Judaism! Learn to song lead and express yourself through art with no previous art or music skill required.

Movement and mind: This track is all about being active and expressing yourself through movement. No matter if you like competitive sports, dance, or yoga, this track will include all of it.

Cost: $49.00

Q&A

Why does a virtual convention cost money?  Great question! While virtual conventions are much, much cheaper than in-person conventions ($49 vs. $329 for Invite Convention last year), there are still some costs associated with it. The convention fee helps cover convention supplies, programming materials and a swag item, plus software, guest speakers, staffing, a songleader, and more.

Is Scholarship Available? Yes! Please apply for scholarship at https://bbyo.org/scholarship-form. In addition to the scholarship application we are excited to connect teens attending their first BBYO Convention to our community partners at Springboard (JUF). Springboard Access Microgrants build off the success of our School Break Program, which has enabled hundreds of teens to find their way into new, immersive Jewish experiences.  Springboard Access Microgrants will be allocated to teens who want to participate in a multi-day virtual or in-person experience during the 2020-2021 academic year.  You can find more information on our website: https://www.juf.org/springboard/Springboard-Access-Grant.aspx

When does registration close? Sign up by the end of the day, April 4th to guarantee you receive a supply kit for the convention.
