Event Details

For the first time in years, KMR is returning to hosting a Kallah Convention. Kallah is a weekend of engaging programming revolving around Jewish identity, Israel, spirituality and Jewish values. This weekend will be led by the Regional Sh’lichim and will be the alternative track for those who are already members of KMR. The weekend will include programming about various aspects of Judaism not often touched upon in BBYO, but aspects just as essential to the growth and learning of all Jewish teens. This track is open to all members of KMR who have been inducted into the Region!

During the “New Member Weekend” track of KMR’s NMW/Kallah 2019, new members of Keystone Mountain Region will learn all the “ins and outs” of AZA and BBG, the fraternity and sorority which together are known as BBYO, from experienced members in KMR! This includes traditions such as our cheers, how to participate in a business meeting, and what our organization stands for! New members will also be officially inducted into Keystone Mountain Region! Of course, there will be plenty of chill time where new members can hang out, relax, and make new friends in their new heart and home, Keystone Mountain Region #33! This track is open to all members of KMR who have not been inducted!

Although this convention is running two different tracks, there will be multiple moments of joint programming throughout the day. These moments include Shabbat, meals, special leadership sessions and speakers.

Cost: $195.00

Location: Mars 16046
