We are SO excited to officially announce that Fall Convention is transitioning to Frat/Sis Convention! This brand new convention is already filled with innovative programs and exciting additions. Some highlights include the launching of a region-wide big/little initiative, which will build bonds among members from different chapters across the region and elevate opportunities for mentorship, special guests and speakers throughout the weekend, including the 71st International N'siah (President) of the B'nai B'rith Girls, Lauren Keats, and the revival of BBYO's semi-formal dance, Beau/Sweetheart, featuring a professional DJ, photobooth, and much, much more! Read all about convention and find answers to many questions here: bbyo.org/region/Rocky_Mountain/Frat-Sis-Convention2015-Basic-Information.pdf
?Early bird registration is now OPEN through September 20. The early bird cost of convention is $295 and teens who register during early bird will get to request a roommate. After September 20, the cost will increase to $315 until registration closes on October 1. Please do not wait until the last minute to register! It makes it much harder to plan when we don't have an accurate idea of who is coming to convention. Additionally, it makes it more difficult for us to troubleshoot problems should you have trouble registering online. It is in everyone's best interest to register during early bird!
?Scholarship: We never want cost to be a reason that someone cannot attend a convention and we do offer need-based scholarships for our convention weekends. Scholarship applications are due by September 18 at 5 PM MST. Please submit your application on time to ensure enough time to allocate funds. We cannot guarantee consideration or funding for applications received after the September 18 deadline. Applications can be found at https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/52307853946968
Please follow the instructions below in order to complete the scholarship application.
1.Ensure that you are a member in good standing by checking your account on b-linked.org. Only active members in good standing will be considered for scholarships.
2.Scholarships will not exceed $150.
3.Please complete one application per person requesting scholarship.
4.Please DO NOT register for convention on b-linked. We will post scholarships to your account by September 22, which will register you for the convention. Your balance will be reflected on your b-linked account.
5.Balances must be paid before convention starts on October 16. Payment plans are available by calling the regional office at 303-316-6385.
6.All information collected on this application will be kept strictly confiential.
7.If you have additional questions, please contact Nikki.
?Medical Forms: All teens attending convention must complete a medical form (https://secure.jotformpro.com/form/51975154114959) for this year. All teens must submit this form (even if you've filled one out previously). We are using a new digitized system for medical information, so please complete this form before convention starts on October 16.
?Cancelation Policy: the deadline to cancel with a full refund is the final registration deadline, October 1. Until that date, full refunds will be granted for cancelations requested in writing (email is acceptable), for any reason. After the registration deadline, partial refunds may be available based on convention expenses already paid (hotel, transportation, etc.). Within ten days of convention, we've already confirmed final counts with our vendors and no refunds will be given. "No shows" will not receive a refund.
?Coming from Albuquerque? We will be in touch soon about transportation.
?Frat/Sis is only open to BBYO members - take a minute to renew your membership or to become a member so you don't miss out!
?Any questions? Email Nikki or call the office (303-316-6385) or ask your coordinators: Lauren Davine, Joe Ginsburg, Gabe Melmed, and Nadia Mowszowski.
