The deadline to submit scholarship applications is  Tuesday, March 22nd.  The scholarship form must be completed online  at:  https://bbyo.org/scholarship-form. Each family will be contacted, via email, by the regional office with the amount of scholarship awarded by  March 28th. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND FORMS:

Beginning in August 2021, BBYO is requiring all teens, staff, adult volunteers, and advisors attending any overnight programs (chapter, city, council, regional, and international programs) based in the United States to be fully vaccinated (vax date plus two weeks). Currently, Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, or Johnson & Johnson are the accepted vaccines.

  1. If your teen attended a BBYO summer program and has already uploaded their vaccination card to CampDoc, BBYO will transfer that over to their MyBBYO account so you do not need to do anything

  2. If your teen did not attend a BBYO summer program, follow these steps:

    1. Go to bbyo.org and sign into your account

    2. Under program alerts, you will see vaccine acknowledgement with the name of each of your teens and a button for the waiver

    3. Click on complete waiver

    4. Please read through entire waiver, sign and click submit

    5. Reminder: this will NOT show up on a teen account only a parent account

BBYO works with CampDoc,  the leading electronic health record system. All participants and parents are required to complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have registered for the convention, you will receive an email inviting you to join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. These forms provide dietary, medical and other important information. Teens will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile.

COVID Protocol:

As you sign up for convention, we want to provide more clarity on how we are navigating COVID at this overnight event. Based on the CDC and BBYO guidelines, and our own experience and ability, we are moving forward with convention by doing the following:

  • All staff/advisors/teens/guests are required to be vaccinated

  • Masks will be required for all indoor programming except meals and sleeping

  • Hand washing and sanitizer will be abundantly available (and encouraged)

  • Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision that all participants attending SRC must provide evidence of a negative Covid test. Teens’ negative COVID test proof will be checked by staff members at the bus along with vaccination cards. PCR tests must be taken within 72 hours or an at home test within 24.

PCR tests or rapid at home tests are both acceptable for this convention. If you are submitting an over-the-counter or take-home test that does not come with a lab report, please take a picture of yourself holding your test results. We must be able to see their face and their test results in the picture.

WHAT  TO  BRING:  A detailed packing list will be sent out in the weeks leading up to convention.

TRANSPORTATION:  A transportation and logistics email will go out one week prior to convention and will include transportation info. Please note teens are never allowed to drive to BBYO  conventions.

REFUNDS: The last day for a full refund is Friday, April 1st.
