The Leven Global Leadership Advisory Council is a cohort of industry executives who help BBYO to engage teens in compelling, authentic leadership experiences. The Council establishes a network of world-class professionals, representing diverse sectors, to mentor and support aspiring young leaders across our Movement.

Over the past few years, BBYO has identified and implemented several large-scale IT enhancement initiatives to better serve our mission. The Technology Advisory Council assists with decision making to provide technical expertise, and ensure that risks are mitigated and roadblocks avoided throughout the process.

Women's Leadership Initiative Advisory Council

Women’s Leadership Initiative Advisory Council

The Women’s Leadership Initiative Advisory Council works actively with BBYO to formulate strategies for the Anita M. Perlman Women’s Leadership Initiative. Members provide guidance and support to young alumnae, join BBG events as speakers and program facilitators, and share their professional and personal experience within the BBYO community.

BBYO’s Parent Advisory Council focuses on developing and strengthening our global community of BBYO parents, providing key insights, planning events, and offering guidance as we work to enrich the parent experience and deepen parent connections across our Movement.

Alumni Advisory Council

Alumni Advisory Council

The Alumni Advisory Council helps to strengthen and support a global network of 350,000 BBYO alumni. Through this Council, young alumni help to lead engagement opportunities for their peers and guide BBYO’s strategy leading up to the launch of our 100th anniversary celebration in 2024.

 

BBYO ADVISORY COUNCILS

BBYO Advisory Council members guide and inform BBYO’s efforts in their local communities and worldwide. Council members are highly successful individuals, at varied stages of their lives and careers, who actively work with BBYO to inspire and empower others through their work. Key areas of focus and participation include informing organizational strategy, participating in special experiences, supporting teens, alumni and advisors, and galvanizing the BBYO network at large.

Membership to BBYO’s Advisory Councils is extended to a select number of extraordinary individuals and each member serves a two-year term from the time they join. Membership entails a meaningful contribution which helps support high-priority BBYO programming.
