Join fellow BBYO CVR leaders for our annual leadership training.

ATTENDEES: All 9th - 12th grade BBYO members from BBYO Connecticut Valley Region
PURPOSE: This convention brings together our BBYO Connecticut Valley members for 3 days of leadership training and fun as well as our traditional regional programs – celebrating Shabbat, limmud electives, Havdallah, and more!
COST AND REGISTRATION: The cost of the convention to room 2 in a room is $475. Registration closes 8/12/2022.
SCHOLARSHIP: Scholarships are available for Regional Convention. The scholarship form must be completed online at: https://bbyo.org/scholarship-form.
Each family will be contacted, via email, by the regional office with the amount of scholarship awarded the week of, August 1st. Once you accept the scholarship, the regional office will register you for the convention and then you can pay the balance. If you are requesting scholarship money, please do not register online until awards are announced.
SUPERVISION: The convention will be staffed by BBYO professionals and chapter advisors.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE/TRANSPORTATION: Convention will begin at 4pm on Friday, August 26th. Buses will leave communties to ensure a 4 pm arrival in Windsor, CT. The convention will end on Sunday, August 28th at 2pm. Transportation info will be sent a week before convention. Transportation is included in the cost of the convention fee. Teens are never allowed to drive to BBYO Conventions.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND WHAT TO BRING: Full packing list will be sent the week of convention. Regional Convention is held in a hotel in Windsor, CT with one day off site at a local camp. The food will be kosher and kosher style – no mixing of milk and meat. When meat is served it is kosher.
HEALTH REQUIREMENTS AND FORMS: Beginning in August 2021, BBYO is requiring all teens, staff, and advisors attending any overnight programs (chapter, city, council, regional, and international programs) based in the United States to be fully vaccinated (vax date plus two weeks). Currently, Moderna, Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, or Johnson & Johnson are the accepted vaccines.
BBYO works with CampDoc, the leading electronic health record system. All participants and parents are required to complete a health file before attending a BBYO convention. Once you have registered for the convention, you will receive an email inviting you to join CampDoc. Accept the invitation and complete or update all forms. These forms provide dietary, medical and other important information. Teens will not be allowed to attend without a complete profile.
