Ensuring IC is Affordable for All

BBYO strives to ensure that any teen who wants to be at IC can join us.

BBYO provides scholarships to assist Alephs and BBGs to attend BBYO International Convention (IC). Scholarship is based on financial need.

In order to apply for this scholarship, a teen must be a current BBYO member in good standing (unless otherwise notified or approved by your local professional).

A scholarship committee will review the information and make award determinations. All information provided to the committee is confidential and all situations are considered. Our goal is to partner with every family to ensure that any teen who wants to attend IC can join us without finances being a barrier. Please note that scholarships are limited, and most scholarship awards range from $100 to $400 (full scholarships are not awarded).

New this year, the scholarship application process will take place before registration opens, on the following schedule:

• Tuesday, September 1, 2026 |  IC scholarship application opens
• Monday, September 14, 2026 | IC scholarship application due
• Tuesday, September 22, 2026 | IC scholarship awards announced
• Ongoing | Applications accepted on a rolling basis

Please note that applying for and/or receiving a scholarship award amount does not guarantee IC registration availability. The IC 2027 Registration and Waitlist Policies still apply; please review carefully to understand how IC registration and waitlist work.

Please note that even delegates who have applied for and received a scholarship award must pay the $250 deposit upon registration. If this fee presents a hardship, please reach out to the IC Customer Service Team at [email protected].

Many communities, chapters, councils, and regions also have local funds available to support interested attendees. Please contact your local community for information.
