Event Details

Hudson Valley Region is proud to present Spring Convention 2019! Join us for innovative programming, meaningful Shabbat experiences, the election of the 7th Hudson Valley Regional Board, and a full weekend of unforgettable memories. 

Spring Convention will include:

  • Special senior moments
  • Exclusive eighth grade/new member experiences 
  • Engaging Shabbat services planned by your fellow teen leaders
  • The election of the 7th Hudson Valley Regional Board
  • Fun and meaningful programming created by your fellow teen leaders
  • Muscial moments featuring our guest songleader, Rachel Wolman
  • Guest speakers
  • Celebration of our chapter successes
  • Even more surprises along the way!

Attention Parents: You are invited to join in HVR's Annual Shabbat Experience on Friday, May 17th from 6:30 - 8 pm. Please join to observe Spring Convention Opening Ceremonies and Shabbat blessings, followed by a private parent-only wine and cheese reception. Details to follow. Travel Info

Spring Convention is local this year! Transportation will not be provided to or from the Shames JCC on the Hudson. 

In order for our teens to have a truly immersive experience at Spring Convention, we will not permit teens to come and go for other activities throughout the weekend.

Registration

Spring Convention is May 17-19, 2019

Drop off is at 6:30PM Friday, May 17th

Pick up is at 12PM Sunday, May 19th 

Early Bird Registration ($300) for Spring Conventions opens from April 1st - 12th.

Regular registration ($330) will open from April 13th - May 1st. 

Parents

You are invited to join in HVR's Annual Shabbat Experience on Friday, May 17th from 6:30 - 8 pm. As you drop off your teens, please join us to observe Spring Convention Opening Ceremonies and Shabbat blessings, followed by a private parent-only wine and cheese reception. Details to follow. We are committed to providing meaningful experiences with BBYO for all members. If you would like to apply for scholarship for this event, please email us at [email protected]. 

Cancellation Policy

The deadline to cancel with a full program refund will be April 30, 2019. Until that date, full refunds will be granted for cancellations in writing (e-mail is acceptable), for any reason. After the registration deadline, partial refunds may be available based on convention expenses already paid (hotel, meals, supplies, etc.). Within fourteen days of convention we've already confirmed final counts with our vendors, and no refunds will be given. "No shows" will not receive a refund.
