Event Details

Calling all Chapter and Regional Board members in HVR! You are exclusively invited to attend this year's Regional Leadership Training Institute, to sharpen your skills and build your newly elected positions for the year to come! 

All members should arrive to the JCC of Mid-Westchester on the evening of Saturday, September 15th between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. We will begin our sessions and participate in Havdallah and dinner together at the JCC before boarding a bus to go to the Radisson in New Rochelle. Chapters and counterparts will bond on Saturday night at the hotel, and all together we will continue the training on Sunday morning, September 16th at the Radisson in New Rochelle. 

All teens will need ot be picked up at the Radisson Hotel New Rochelle at 3:00 pm on Sunday, Septemebr 16th.

Please pack an overnight bag including red HVR spirit gear, and bring your phones, laptops, and chargers!

Q&A

I'm on my chapter's board in HVR. Should I attend this event?

- YES! This event is mandatory for all Chapter and Regional Board members.

Am I allowed to drive myself?

- No. Unfortunately, teens are not permitted to drive themselves to overnight BBYO events due to satefy reasons.

Where should I get dropped off on Saturday, September 15th?

- You should be dropped off at the JCC of Mid-Westchester (999 Wilmot Rd.Scarsdale, NY 10583) between 4:30 and 5:00 pm. 

Will I have time to go home between the JCC and the Hotel?

- NO. We will be boarding a bus to go immediately to the hotel from the JCC on Saturday evening. Teens who leave the program will not be allowed back for the remainder (unless picked up and dropped off by a parent).

I usually take medicine. Should I bring it with me?

- Yes! All teens are responsible for their medication and taking it when they are scheduled to.

I have a food allergy or intollerance. What should I eat?

- If you have ANY food allergies, please let Emily know at [email protected].

Where should I be picked up on Sunday, September 16th?

- You should be picked up at the Radison Hotel New Rochelle at 3:00 pm on Sunday.
