HVR is excited to host Winter Convention - Yalla B'Yachad for all members! Yalla B'Yachad, meaning Let's Go Together in Hebrew, is the theme chosen for the weekend to unite in global Jewish solidarity as we continue to stand with Israel. We will celebrate Global Shabbat, a BBYO movement-wide celebration, we will hear from and learn with high-profile speakers, and participate in teen-led programming throughout the weekend. It's sure to be a meaningful, memorable, and engaging weekend!

The all-inclusive earlybird registration fee will be $425 through Monday, Nov 6th at 11:59 pm. Regular registration will be $475 from Tuesday, Nov 7th through Monday, Nov 13th at 11:59 pm. No refunds will be available after Tuesday, Nov 14th at 8 pm. If you are in need of scholarship, please do not register at this time and fill out this form: HVR Winter Convention 23 Scholarship. Scholarship Applications are due Monday, Nov 6th at 11:59pm, following which staff will be in touch to register you. 

If you were registered for BBYO New York's Yacht Party Kickoff and have become a member since, please be on the look out for an email from staff with an exclusive discount code.

We reserve the right to announce required Covid testing and protocols, if necessary, as the pandemic evolves. We highly recommend each participant be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including the most recent booster available. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].

Q&A

This is my first BBYO Immersive experience. What is expected of me?

All participants are expected to follow the Code of Conduct. Any violations will earn immediate disciplinary actions and in certain cases, participants will be sent home at any hour at their own expense and can be suspended from the BBYO program.

I am taking a standardized test this weekend. Can I come after my test?

Yes, we welcome all test-takers! Please reach out to [email protected] for a prorated convention fee based on your specific circumstances. Good luck!

I need to miss part of convention. Can I get a discounted rate?

Unfortunately we are only able to offer discounted rates for teens taking a standardized test. 

Is scholarship available?

Yes! Scholarship Applications are due Monday, Nov 6th at 11:59pm, following which staff will be in touch to register you. Please fill out this form: HVR Winter Convention 23 Scholarship.

Will there be bussing to Winter Convention?

There will NOT be bussing for this event located at a hotel in Tarrytown. Exact hotel details will be released closer to the weekend for security purposes. If you are in need of assistance in getting to convention, please reach out to [email protected] and we can help coordinate a ride for you.

Can I drive myself to Winter Convention?

Teens are not allowed, under any circumstance, to drive themselves to overnight events. We hold BBYO teen's safety and security to the highest standard and driving home after a tiring weekend is something we do not allow.
