It's a BBYO Kickoff Cook-off with a purpose: Cook with Chef Brooke while learning from City Meals on Wheels how to support NYC's food insecure population.

Chef Brooke Baevsky (IG @inthekitchenwithbae) is the Product Development Manager at Freshly. She also teaches teens how to cook, caters private dinners and events, and sells custom gluten, dairy, and soy-free desserts for delivery nationwise. Broke is a proud BBG alumna who is excited to kick off the year with a Zoom cooking class for BBYO Manhattan!

Q: Is this an in-person or virtual event?

A: This is a virtual event, held on Zoom.

 

Q: Where can I find the Zoom link?

A: We'll email the Zoom link and password to all registrants on 10/16.

 

Q: I dont know how to cook! Can I still participate?

A: Definitely! This is an all-levels class and there's something anyone can get out of it.

 

Q: Will you send me an ingredients list?

A: Yup! You'll receive it before the 18th with enough time to gather what you need.

 

Q: Why are you asking for my mailing address?

A: We'd like to send you some goodies before the event!

 

Q: Who can come to this event?

A: Any Jewish teen in 8th - 12th Grade!

 

Q: I'm not a member of BBYO, can I come?

A: Absolutely! In fact, if you are one of the first 15 teens to join BBYO Manhattan Region between now and Kickoff, we'll send you a coupon code for FREE ENTRY into Kickoff!! So act quick and be a part of the first 15!
