Welcome back to New England Region BBYO! We are back with our annual Regional Kickoff event as we set sail for a Boston Harbor Boat Cruise to celebrate the start of the year!

Open to all Jewish teens in 8th-12th grade, join us on Saturday October 8, on the Freedom Boat with Mass Bay Lines.  This event is open to all members and non-members.  

We will have a DJ, snacks and more!  It will be a night to remember and we hope you all can join us!

Transportation is included. Teens are not permitted to drive to the event. Parents/family members may drive their teens to the event if they choose. (See Travel Info below).

Q&A

When do we get further information about the event? Information will be updated online continuously and included in NER's eNews.

By email, we will send out 2 emails closer to the event (one the weekend before registration closes and one after Yom Kippur).  These emails will include information regarding transportation information, reminders, rules, emergency contact information and any information regarding in-person program policies.

Volunteer advisors and staff are in attendance and we are looking for additonal parent volunteers who can ride the bus and/or attend the event, contact Jeff Hast at [email protected] if you are interested.  If a parent/family volunteer, we will cover the costs of the event.

 

Bus transportation will be provided from throughout the region.  See registration questions for more details. Specific information will be sent in the upcoming weeks once registration begins regarding times and location of bus stops.  Teens are not allowed to drive themselves to the event.


Buses will arrive by 8pm and depart by 11pm, most buses make 1-2 stops and some return to their designated drop off spots around midnight or after.  Teens must stay for the entirety of the program.

As of now, the tentative bus times are (exact locations to be provided):

  • Providence JCC- 6:30pm (Rhode Island)- return between 12-12:30am
  • Temple Israel in Sharon- 7:00pm (South Shore)- return by 11:40pm
  • Marblehead- 6:30pm (for North Shore families)- return after midnight
  • Andover- 6:20pm (For Merrimack Valley/New Hampshire families)- return after midnight
  • Acton- 7pm at Beth Elohim, return between 12-12:30am
  • Natick- 7pm (for Metrowest families), return by 11:45pm
  • Newton/Auburndale- 7pm Location TBA (for Newton/Needham/Brookline families)- return by 11:45pm
