Event Details It's time to celebrate the kickoff of an exciting year for North Texas Oklahoma region! Join us in boarding the Miss Gloria and Abigail Rose party boats at Sam's Dock in Lake Lewisville. All Jewish teens in 9th-12th grades are invited to swim, water slide, play games, and celebrate the end of summer! Don't forget to bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and a refillable water bottle! We'll have snacks to go with your sips, but we recommend grabbing a bite before you board. Please arrive no later than 12:45 PM. Once the boats have left the dock, we will not return until the cruise has concluded. Parents, we have a kickoff for you too! After dropping your teen at Sam's Dock Marina, join us at Angelina's Mexican Restaurant (a 10 minute drive) to meet other BBYO parents, learn about upcoming BBYO events, and how to get involved with the planning of International Convention (have you heard that Dallas is hosting this year?!). Cost: $30.00 Location: Lewisville 75056 Travel InfoTransportation will NOT be provided to and from this event. Please arrive early, our boats depart from the Sam's Dock at Pier 121 Marina promptly at 1:00 PM and will return at 4:00 PM. Q&AIs this event open to non-members and members of BBYO? Yes, all Jewish teens are welcome. If you would like to purchase membership please go to: bbyo.org/join Will I/my teen be able to board the boat if I/they arrive late? No, the boat leaves promptly at 1:00 PM and will not return until 4:00 PM. Are there bathrooms on the boat? Yes! Is there shade on the boat? Yes, the bottom tier of the boat is shaded. We recommend all teens wear sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Will there be adult chaprones? Yes, we will have adult chaperones (BBYO staff, advisors and parents) on each boat as well as 2 additional Marina staff personnel. Are personal inflatables permitted? Yes, but due to limited boat space all inflatables must remain uninflated until we have reached the swimming area.
