Q&A

What are important dates to know?

  • Thursday, September 24: Registration and Scholarship Applications Open
  • Thursday, October 15: Scholarship Applications Due
  • Friday, October 16: Scholarship Allocations Announced
  • Sunday, October 18: Registration Closes

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

  • The deadline to cancel with a full program refund is the final registration deadline. Until that date, full refunds will be granted for cancellations in writing (email is acceptable) for any reason. After the registration deadline we've already confirmed final counts with our vendors, and no refunds will be given for any reason. "No shows" will not receive a refund.

Are there an unlimited number of convention spots?

  • Yes! We are able to accept any members who are interested in joining us.

Why does a virtual convention cost money?

  • Great question! While virtual conventions are much, much cheaper than in-person conventions ($50 vs. $295 for New Member Weekend last year), there are still some costs associated with it. The convention fee helps cover convention supplies (programming materials, apparel, software purchased for convention, etc), guest speakers and workshop programming, staff, a songleader, and more. Extensive scholarship is available, and we strongly encourage you to apply. There is an opportunity to list why you are applying for a scholarship (COVID related barriers, teen paying for convention, family expenses, etc.) that may paint a bigger picture than your AGI.
