BBYO Bulgaria has a rich history as the first BBYO community established outside North America, originally founded in Ruse in 1936 and reestablished in Sofia 30 years ago.
Today, BBYO Bulgaria brings together Jewish teens to connect, build leadership skills, and take an active role in shaping their community. Programs are led by teens, with support from advisors and local partners.
Working closely with the JCC and Jewish community leaders, BBYO Bulgaria continues to grow as a meaningful and lasting part of the Jewish teen experience, helping develop the next generation of leaders.
