Northern Region East: Baltimore Council

About Us

Baltimore Council is part of BBYO’s Northern Region East (NRE) and is home to more than 350 Jewish teens throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Each chapter has its own teen leadership board and hosts weekly programs, typically on Saturday nights or Sunday afternoons. Chapters are supported by dedicated adult advisors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Throughout the year, the council comes together for larger events and conventions.

Events are planned by teens, for teens, and programming ranges from social activities like ice skating and overnights to communal Shabbat celebrations and leadership trainings. Through these youth-led, staff-supported experiences, BBYO Baltimore Council empowers teens to build leadership skills, form meaningful friendships, and make a positive impact in their communities.
