Event Details
The International Day of Jewish Youth Service takes on a very special meaning this year as we work to support and honor the victims and survivors of the October 7th attacks in Israel. Hudson Valley Region, in collaboration with J-Teen, is eager to bring the community together for an incredibly powerful evening commemorating Israel's artistic community, particularly the Nova Music Festival.
After celebrating Havdallah together, we will amplify the music, dancing, and peace of the Nova Music Festival through our own Silent Disco, creating space for memorialization and reflection alongside joy and celebration. Teens will enjoy festival-like activities alongside fundraisers to support organizations in Israel that are directly working with the survivors of the Nova Music Festival.
This event is open to any and all Jewish teens in grades 8 - 12. 50% of the ticket proceeds will be donated HaGal Sheli, an Israeli organization directly supporting the survivors of Oct 7th through surfing-based trauma therapy.
Address confirmation will be sent to all those registered.
