  • How do I get to convention? 
    • Families must arrange their own transportation to and from convention. BBYO will not be facilitating this. 
  • What if I have to come late or leave early? No problem! Late arrivals and early departures are typically no problem as long as we know in advance ([email protected]).

  • What does In-Person with Virtual Pieces Mean?

      • Friday Evening (TBD) – In-Person Chapter Based Programming
      • Saturday (10am – 4pm) – In-Person
      • Saturday Night (7-10pm) – In-Person
      • Sunday – Virtual Regional Elections
  • What is the scholarship process?
  1. By May 19th at 11:59pm: 
    • Go to bbyo.org/regionalscholarships
    • Submit form. Ignore “Teen Section To Complete” - just put N/A for the answers
    • Late applications will not be accepted
  2. On May 20: Each family will be contacted via email with scholarship allocation information and next steps.
  • What is the cancellation/refund policy? Cancellations made on or before the final registration deadline date will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within the week of the convention/program:
    • Death in the family – full refund
    • Medical excuse with doctor’s note – 50% refund
    • Other reasons – at the staff’s discretion, up to 30%
    • No-shows will not be granted refunds
  • What are the meals like? What if I have a dietary restriction? We will be providing lunch on Saturday, as well as a variety of snacks.  All BBYO conventions are peanut and tree nut free. If you have other dietary restrictions, please let us know.
  • Worried about COVID-19? BBYO – Wisconsin Region has entered Phase 1 of our reopening to in-person programming. What does that mean for larger regional conventions? 
    • We will only be gathering OUTSIDE. 
    • Masks must be worn at all times.
    • Everyone present will be socially distanced from each other. 
    • Hand Sanitizer will be available and used frequently (between programming moments and when switching groups) 
    • We will be making small groups for all programming. We WILL switch groups throughout our time together but will not gather as a full group.
    • Sharing/communal food is not permitted. All food will be individually packaged.
    • Participants and their parents, will be required to sign a waiver before participating, and to review and agree to the conditions in the waiver prior to attending each piece of convention.
    • As always, anyone not feeling well (even if you think it's just seasonal allergies or a cold) is requested not to attend a program
