Uruguay

Uruguay is a well-established BBYO community with more than 12 years of continuous growth and engagement.

Today, the region includes two active chapters with weekly programming, supported by a regional teen board that plays a key role in shaping vision and coordination. Through these experiences, teens build leadership skills, strengthen their connection to Jewish life, and form meaningful relationships.

Uruguay is especially known for its regional events, which bring together teens from across the broader community for dynamic, creative, and high-impact experiences designed and led by teens. These initiatives highlight the region’s strong culture of leadership, engagement, and innovation.
