Wisconsin Region comprises chapters in Milwaukee and the surrounding communities, as well as Madison, bringing together more than 350 Jewish teens.
Members have opportunities to participate in local programming in their communities, as well as regional experiences such as dances, community service days, sports events, and weekend conventions. Teens can also take part in international programming through large-scale conferences and BBYO Summer Experiences.
Chapters hold events every couple of weeks, all planned by teens, for teens, ranging from social activities like watching the Packers game, brunch, or laser tag to programs focused on Jewish holidays, social justice, and leadership development. A parent, advisor, or regional staff member is always on hand to ensure safety and health.
Fun fact: Wisconsin Region’s colors are red and white, and its mascot is a cow. It is also the only region that hosts a weekly Shabbat Oneg every Friday afternoon.
