Event Details

before the event we told everone to dress up in costumes to celebrate purim together in a fun way!!

From 7:00-7:15 we started off with an icebreaker, where we all got in a circle and tossed around 3 ballons with questions on them. The goal was to not let the balloon touch the ground while music was playing, when the music stopped someone had to catch the ballon and answer one of the questions.

Around 7:20 we did a Havdallah service, and invited other Chapters who were in the building to join us. We all joined together in a cricle and sang together.

Beginning at 7:40, we started baking our hamentaschen.  We used pre-made dough from a kosher kitchen.  (To save time, two members met before the event and made the dough).  People spilit into groups so they could be able to make different hamentschen. One group made them with m&ms, the other sprinkles with smores, and the last one traditonal jam.

From 8:00 - 8:45 While they were baking, we did some Wise yoga. This is Wises' spin on yoga where we showed difficult yoga poses and with a partner you had to copy them.  This was a hit and everyone loved it!!

After the hamentaschen where done at around 8:45, we put them in bags to give to the J-serve bakesale, and we all ate the rest together.
