The first two days of International Convention 2019 have been moving, powerful, informative, inspiring, and life-changing. We truly felt what we've been saying all year—it’s Our Turn.

Today was our BBYO LEADS Day. We learned leadership best practices from experts across industries and are motivated more than ever to continue leading the Jewish community when we come home.

Following the powerful LEADS Plenary, we offered over 50 different Leadership Labs around Denver, during which we learned about natural disaster response, how to support people experiencing homelessness, and taking lessons from the Holocaust to combat racism and anti-Semitism today. Local and global companies and organizations who mentored us included the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, American Waterworks Association, and Foothills Animal Shelter.

A special highlight was “Before B’Tayavon,” a cooking and candy-making workshop with award-winning chefs Alon Shaya and Alex Levin!

Now, we’re powering down to enjoy a Shabbat with our 5,500-strong community filled with peace, light, song, unity and togetherness.

Shabbat Shalom to all!
