A Happy Chanukah in San Antonio
Chanukah is a time for the Jewish community to come together and unite as one. From celebrating with family and friends, in our respective Jewish youth groups, or celebrating with your local community, San Antonio knows how to spread the light.
On December 1, Lonestar Region’s two San Antonio chapters, Sababa BBG and EW AZA, had their annual Chanukah potluck and white elephant party. We had lots of fun playing dreidel, opening gifts, and lighting the menorah. There were smiles on everyone’s faces, and the event was definitely lit!
Then, on December 8, all of San Antonio’s Jewish youth groups and the greater Jewish community, came together in front of the Alamo to light the menorah together. There was lots of singing, dancing, and just joy all around. If you’re from San Antonio, you won’t want to miss it in 2019!
The video attached to this article is a project i put together from these two events. I Hope you enjoy!
