South Jersey Region kicked off April with SJR Presents! The Talent show, on April 14th, featured many of SJR’s most prominent members, as they showed off their unique talents to the region! SJR Presents helped raise over $2,000 from the local community and businesses, such as: WinesTilSoldOut, Roger Wilco, Camp Saginaw, Tall Pines, Maximum Research Inc., The JCC, Classic Cake, and Haute Bungalow. All the money raised throughout the night will go towards scholarships that help SJR’s members attend meaningful conventions that promote leadership and the values of Judaism.

The night was truly magical. SJR Presents was a night of family and fun! We are so excited to use the money raised to help those in our community engage in Jewish experiences with our Scholarships. Thank you to all those who presented their amazing talents!

Jacob Goldstein, my counterpart and SJR’s Gizbor (treasurer) and I planned and orchestrated the inspiring night that will help many of our members. “It’s extremely important that we continue to fundraise to help support our members’ needs! BBYO provides experiences to Jewish teens that can’t be found anywhere else, and the money raised tonight will provide the means to fund those experiences, so everyone can gain their value!” exclaimed Jacob Goldstein.

It was so amazing to give statements to local newspapers for articles written about the event, and the whole fundraiser was surreal. If you have any questions about planning a talent show fundraiser in your community, let me know, and I’d love to help!
