Opening Ceremonies at IC 2020 offered a message for hope for the entire Order. “Tomorrow Happens Here” embodies this idea of using our youth voice to make change happen; we have the power in our hands. One especially impacting moment was when Sam Primack from Dear Evan Hansen performed, and all of the screens behind the stage were covered with messages of encouragement and inclusion. Mental Health is something that is incredibly important to young people, and it is amazing to see so much awareness about it in this manner.

All of Opening Ceremonies was full of never-before-seen experiences, filled with Rabbis, alumnus, and more. It ended with a performance by Loud Luxury, a pair of DJ’s. The entire crowd was energized, and the room was full of the excitement for International Convention as a whole.
