Top Ten BBYO Songs
Spotify. Apple Music. Soundcloud. Whatever streaming platform you use, you have for sure come across a playlist claiming to be “THE BBYO HYPE PLAYLIST”. Well, let’s debunk those titles.
Here’s a breakdown of the top 10 BBYO songs all of you have chosen:
10. Midnight City by M83
Midnight City is a classic song to use for any BBYO convention recap video or promo! This song is also perfect to play at the beginning of a call or program before the activity begins.
9. Brand New by Ben Rector
Yet another perfect song to use for any BBYO video! Its pop beat and catchy chorus have really caught on and members across the Order know all the words!!
8. Rivers and Roads by The Head and the Heart
Whether it’s playing during Havdalah under the Perlman tree or just in your car, you won't be able to listen to this song without shedding a tear. Rivers and Roads is nostalgic and heart wrenching but beautiful all at once.
7. Live a Little by Chaz Cardigan
This. Is. It. This song has a great beat, catchy lyrics, and a perfect opportunity for a dance break. What more could an Aleph or BBG ask for??
6. Golden Boy by Nadav Guedj
This one is by far a Rikudim favorite. Golden Boy took the world by storm following its first appearance on EuroVision. If you aren't already familiar with this song, I suggest you download it ASAP. Are YOU a golden boy?!
5. I Lived by OneRepublic
OneRepublic never misses. Whether it’s used for a TikTok or a Senior’s BBYO rewind, this song always hits.
4. Lean on Me by Bill Withers
Till I’m gonna KNEE (ELBOW) somebody to lean on…..This one doesn't need much explanation. A Perlman favorite and an all around musical masterpiece (with our BBYO edits of course)!
3. 50 Ways to Say Goodbye by Train
Banger after banger. Enough said.
2. I Found You by Andy Grammer & Cash Cash
Teens heard this song at IC 2020 and the rest is history. I Found You will forever be the BBYO hype song.
1. One Day by Matisyahu
And finally, coming in at #1, we have One Day. Now, One Day isn't your typical BBYO hype song. However, that doesn't diminish its power. Alephs and BBGs know this song like they know the alphabet. Sung at Shabbat Shira, buses to convention, or even if it just randomly gets stuck into your head sometimes, One Day is a fan favorite.
