Super Sightseeing at IC
Sightseeing at IC was the highlight of Sunday afternoon. While half of the delegates were at International Elections, the other half were out and about doing fun activities.
The sightseeing I went on was the National Building Museum. Going into the sightseeing, I was very nervous. I didn’t know anyone else in my group and I didn’t know what to expect. However, it ended up being so much fun.
I met a bunch of people and bonded over many things like school, BBYO, siblings, and more. We all rode the bus and finally made it to the National Building Museum.
When we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful architecture. The museum has a giant fountain in the middle and a bunch of long gold pillars. It was stunning to look at and you could see how much history is in the building.
My favorite exhibit I saw was the room called Work Build Play. In this room they had giant blue blocks and you built whatever you wanted with them. I loved being able to use my creativity outside of BBYO.
The sightseeing experience was amazing and was one of my favorite parts of IC.
