My name is Mika Armbrister, I’m an ambassador from Maccabi tzair in Israel. Along with being a sixth grade counselor, I also help make our organization environmentally friendly. Once a month I meet with more counselors like me from around Israel to help promote Maccabi in becoming a green organization. On Friday October 28th, Maccabi sent around 300 of its members to the climate march in Tel Aviv. We chanted, made signs, and walked two kilometers to help publicize the climate crisis. We took many pictures and videos and posted them on our social media platforms. At the end of the march all our members went home and are assigned with the task of thinking how they could help the environment in their own way.
