On October 7th, Hudson Valley Region held its kickoff for the 2022-2023 year! First we arrived at the JCC, checked in, and talked with friends! Then we got on the bus and after a long two hour bus ride we arrived in the city. We had a yacht party in Manhattan region and Big Apple region! It was super fun! There was dancing, music, and card games like poker. And of course there was lots of food. On the yacht, I was reunited with two of my friends from my passport program. I spent the night with all my friends singing, dancing, and having the best time! Regional events are a great way to reconnect with people and make new relationships. I got to hangout with my friends and meet new people. It was an absolute blast! We had a meaningful Shabbat led by the regional shlichots and celebrated our assistant regional directors birthday. We ended the night with more singing and dancing before saying our goodbyes and heading home. It was such an amazing night and I can’t wait for the next regional event to come!
