MAR: Northstar Council recently just took part in their second official #givingBBYOday! The calling party was incredibly lit, and here were some of my highlight moments from the evening! 

Firstly, spending time with the chapter boards was so much fun. I loved seeing them all in action! They did a great job calling family, friends, alumni, and other community members. Their positive attitudes and dedication ultimately led to an incredibly successful night. I am so proud and thankful for all that they did to help our council!

Secondly, I loved getting to call different Northstar supporters and tell them about my passion for BBYO! Whether it was past teen leaders, previous donors, or my BBYO Passport besties,  it was so meaningful to share my love for the organization with them all. It is thanks to our amazing donors that the council can continue to support our teens with fun events and Jewish bonding opportunities.

My final highlight from the evening was that our council was able to raise a large sum of funds! These donations will help us to improve our programming and continue to help other Jewish teens stay connected in the Jewish community. I never realized how much Giving Tuesday could impact Northstar and BBYO as a whole. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to participate in #givingBBYOday, and I can’t wait to see Northstar raise even more next year!
