I was a lucky participant of the International Leadership Training Conference (ILTC) 2023.

During those 18 days ,we not only talked about the Movement we all love, about our home communities, or our Jewish values, we also formed bonds for a lifetime. I wanted to highlight my top 5 favorite quotes that truly showcase the spirit of ILTC 2023 for me.

5. “Never think what you do doesn’t matter”

Said during one of our first Kavanot, it truly showcases the power that each teen has to change the world. After ILTC I feel more confident of my ability to enact change in my community.

4. “We agree, both are equally as cool”

During my first talk with somebody from the Romanian delegation, we talked about our travels to Perlman. We started to discuss if being from Argentina or Romania is cooler, but we reached a collective answer, being from any country has its highlights.

3. Anything said in the Alina Spaulding talk

Probably one of the best speakers I had the pleasure of listen to. Not only was she engaging, but her story really touched me. After the talk she offered us to go speak with her 1:1,  even after she had already offered a Q &A. She listened to all of our questions, remembered who was in line first, and was more than happy playing Jewish geography. If you get the chance to hear from her at IC, do it, you are not going to regret it.

2. ”It is not that far”

How much is far? If we think about it "far" is only defined by us. Serbia and Argentina aren’t that far, it’s just two flights. Even if it's actually far, we are lucky that we can still text each other and we can look forward to reunions in Orlando at our centennial IC.

1. “Community is trusting what is behind you even, if you don't have eyes in the back of your head”

Although I wrote a whole article on the sense of being part of a community, what I want to highlight in his articles is not just the meaning of it (if you wanna read more about it read here), but what it was said on the first day of our Blueprint group from Harry from NER. We didn’t know each other at the time, and still Harry was able to say powerful words that impacted all of my adventure.

There are a lot of honorable mentions that made the experience some of the best days of my life. ILTC is an experience  that will stick for me forever, I couldn’t have imagined doing anything else for those 18 days and I’m so thankful for the opportunity I had to attend.
