BBYO has continued to bring me more than I could ever ask. I am incredibly grateful for this organization, so here are just a few reasons why.

Firstly, BBYO helped me meet teens passionate about growing their Jewish identity in Minnesota. When I joined my chapter, I was introduced to a community of strong high school women who wanted to spend time with other Jewish girls. I found it to be incredibly important to have this group as I went through high school. I have been able to rely on these girls no matter what, and I am excited to continue fostering these relationships throughout the rest of the year and past BBYO.

I am also thankful for all of the travel opportunities BBYO has given me. Through BBYO, I have traveled to Kansas, Florida, Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Israel. I would have never had the chance to travel to these destinations without BBYO. These trips also led me to some of my best friends who live all over the country. I am so thankful for these travel opportunities and the connections they brought me.

Finally, I am thankful for the skills I learned through BBYO. Being on board has taught me time management, communication, patience, dedication, and so much more. I am going to take these skills with me past BBYO as I get ready for college. Being able to learn these skills throughout my time in high school is something I don’t take for granted.

Overall, BBYO has brought me so much to be thankful for. In my last year of high school, I can’t wait to see what BBYO has in store for me!
