Candy Sushi Night
Is your chapter looking for a super fun and chill event? Try candy sushi making! My council has weekly programs on Thursdays planned by the council board. Every week we come up with a unique and engaging activity for members of our chapters to enjoy. This past week we decided to have a candy sushi-making night, and it was one of our best weekly programs yet! With record-breaking attendance at the program and incredible reviews following, I think this program could be a great way for many chapters to bond and even learn some new skills along the way.
Our planning was super easy. When coming up with the supplies we would need, we looked to TikTok to see what the best candies were to make the sushi look and taste the best. We decided on things like Fruit Roll-Ups, Rice Krispie Treats, Mike-and-Ikes, Swedish Fish, and more. After that, we booked a room at our local JCC, and promoted the event!
Candy sushi making is also a great program because of its simplicity. Anyone can make it, and even if it doesn’t look the best, it will still taste delicious! This event was a hit in our council, and we are so excited to bring it back in future terms. If you are in need of an event, this is your sign to grab some candy and get rolling!
