I had the most amazing time at NSR’s kickoff this past Sunday! Everyone had such a fun time, whether they were out on the dance floor or talking among themselves. This was my first regional kickoff event, and I’m happy to say that Club NSR definitely surpassed all of my expectations. At kickoff, there was a new member cocktail hour where new members from all chapters across the region could come and meet one another. After this first hour, the rest of the members arrived. During this time, we danced, spent time with our friends, and even visited a vintage shuk store where everything was sold at a discounted price! After this, we had an RLN fair, where the Jewish enrichment committee set up a Jewish jeopardy booth, and if you got the question correct, you could win candy! It was super cool and such a great activity. Later on, ice cream was served, and after just two short hours, the event was over. The seniors, however, stayed for a little while longer and did a bonding circle, which seemed like it was really fun and wholesome! Club NSR was definitely a hit and a kickoff for the books.
