When I joined BBYO, I had no idea how much it would change my life. A year ago, I was in a tough spot—feeling lost, isolated, and unsure about the direction of my life. My days were spent going through the motions. School was just something I had to get through, and I felt disconnected from everything around me.

But then, a small spark changed everything. It was during a community gathering at my temple, focused on showing support for the ongoing attacks in Israel, that I decided to attend on a whim. I had no idea this event would lead to one of the most pivotal moments in my life. I reconnected with old friends and met new people, and before I knew it, I was welcomed by people I felt genuinely wanted around. That night, my BBYO journey began.

BBYO is more than just an organization; it’s a family. A family that not only welcomed me with open arms but also reignited a sense of purpose and belonging that I hadn’t felt in a long time. It’s a place where I’ve built deep, meaningful connections—ones that have helped me grow as a person and a leader. I’ve had the chance to step up, lead, and make a difference, not just in my life but in the lives of others.

Being part of BBYO has connected me to my roots in a way I never expected. My family has been involved for generations. My great-grandfather and his brother were among those who helped get this organization off the ground. Carrying on their legacy is something I’m truly proud of.

Over the past year, I’ve seen firsthand how BBYO brings people together, creating a community that is strong, supportive, and always there for one another. We celebrate each other’s successes, lift each other in tough times, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Whether through local chapter events or larger regional gatherings, BBYO is a place where you can truly be yourself and find others who share your values and passions.

As I continue my journey with BBYO, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead. I’m eager to inspire others, to share my love for this incredible community, and to help others find the same sense of belonging that I did. BBYO isn’t just about the events or the meetings; it’s about the people, the connections, and the way it shapes us all into better versions of ourselves.

If you’re looking for a place where you can find purpose, build lasting friendships, and be part of something bigger than yourself, BBYO is it. It’s a community that will welcome you, challenge you, and help you grow in ways you never thought possible. I’m grateful every day for the role BBYO has played in my life, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
