Two years ago I came to Spain from Venezuela. I was the new girl who was integrated into a new world full of many facilities, but I left a lot behind. During my first year I started to hear about BBYO. My classmates asked me if I was going to the Kick-off or if I knew about it. I really had no idea, but over time, I began to understand how serious this organization was. Last year, I made an effort to understand BBYO and become an active part of it. Now, I can say that I am part of it, and I am very proud.

My first event was not the 2023 Kick-off but it was definitely the most significant one. Since that event, I have gone to every event of the month. Although I couldn't go to the IC 2024, I was able to go to the national convention of Spain. It was one of the best experiences of my life along with the IC 2023. It gave me the chance to become a leader, and that's why I'm here today. I wanted to be something more than just a member in BBYO. That’s why my second IC (IC 2025) was a great chance to show what my first IC taught me.

Without a doubt this year was my best year in BBYO, and I'm very happy. The events were very fun, in which I learned about Judaism and met many people who are now my best friends. I will never forget our last event in June of 2024. It was a splash day where we played all day in the water with water guns. It was an incredible event, and I couldn't stop laughing.

BBYO is not just an organization, it is a second home where any Jew is welcome and I want to show how immense this is and how happy it can make you.
