It’s pretty clear who’s going to win the Super Bowl this year, and no, it’s not the Carolina Panthers, even though I’m from North Carolina. The past winners of the Super Bowl have always had some extremely common similarities. They build a dynasty of a defense, an impenetrable defensive line, to a no fly zone secondary. Defense wins championships; most NFL fans have for sure heard that phrase. For the offense, obviously you need to have the ability to be explosive when needed with a solid run and pass game. The quarterback needs to be a leader, but just needs to be okay in all other general areas.

Next is what’s going to be pretty controversial. The team that lines up with the Super Bowl qualities most is the Denver Broncos. The best defensive line in the league, having the most sacks by 10, a secondary with the best cornerbacks, linebackers, and safeties. This defense is a brick wall when all is healthy, and right now it most certainly is alive. Then we look at the offense: elite passing plays with a well rounded receiver core and two running backs that are the best the Broncos have seen since Super Bowl 50. An offensive line that is unbreachable, and then finally a quarterback that has been improving steadily.

This team is built to make a run in the playoffs and hold off the other strong offenses. The best part about this team is no lead is too strong to come back from. When the 4th quarter starts, a light bulb goes off in them and they play out of their minds.

Mark my words, the Denver Broncos will make a run in the playoffs this year and will give bettors a run for their money.
