As the newly elected Morim of my chapter, I thought it would be fitting to do the top 3 reasons why you should join BBYO! I personally love BBYO, and want to share the reasons why I joined and why I think you should too!

1. BBYO is whatever you make it!

All the time, I tell people and hear people say that BBYO is truly whatever you make of it. You can come to every program or just one, be on board, be a chair, or be a general member. You can be super engaged in the programs, or just hang out with friends. There are so many different opportunities that you have when you join BBYO, and you get to do it however you want!

2. The friends you make last a lifetime!

When I first saw my chapter, I knew I would want to join because of the good vibes and how welcoming the people were. I think it is so cool that I can say that I have friends from 8th grade to seniors even though I am only a freshman. Regardless of my age, the friends I have made I know will last for a long time and the bonds are so special to me!

3. You can have so many unique opportunities!

BBYO offers so many opportunities that someone can participate in, from summer programs to conventions to simple chapter programs. In BBYO, I’ve attended many conventions and chapter programs such as ice skating, craft-related events, and baking-related events just to name a few. I love the variety and the skills I earn from these programs.

I hope that these 3 reasons were helpful and convincing enough to join your local chapter!
