It’s been a while, but I’m back with new stories, updates, and plenty of excitement from my latest travels! After countless kilometers (or miles — whichever team you’re on), endless laughter, new friendships, reunions with old ones, and sooo much fun, I’m finally here to share it all.

After an incredible visit to Atlanta (which you can read about in my last article 👀), I packed up my suitcase once again and headed straight to BALTIMORE — home of IC 2022, my first-ever International Convention!

Baltimore was a full 360° experience. I had the chance to visit a Jewish day school and introduce BBYO to the 8th graders, enjoy an amazing dinner with all the chapter boards, visit a Jewish Student Union, and top it all off with a sweet ice cream meetup. So many memories were made, friendships formed, and new growth is already on the horizon for this incredible region.

Just a 20-minute drive away, I found myself at NREtreat — and wow, what a weekend! All the chapter and regional boards of NRE gathered for an inspiring few days filled with learning, bonding, and pure joy. We celebrated a meaningful Shabbat together and closed the weekend with a heartfelt Havdallah, separates, and one of the most spirited spirit-offs I’ve ever seen.

From there, it was time for a slightly longer drive to visit NOVA Council. Fun fact: when I arrived at my host family’s house, Bat Mitzvah decorations were being delivered, and I even got invited to the Bat Mitzvah, but sadly, I couldn’t go (huge shoutout and Mazel Tov to Margo’s sister 💜). That night, I had a fantastic dinner with the BBG Regional Board, where we shared stories and reflections from the weekend. The next morning, I spent a super productive day at the office catching up with the one and only Moe about our summers, and later joined a meeting with all the amazing NRE staff.

My visit wrapped up with — yes — another ice cream meetup! This time with members from all across the region. The evening was extra special, with a stunning sunset to close it all out.

After some very well-spent time in NRE, it was off to South Jersey! This visit was particularly meaningful because I got to celebrate my 18th birthday there — and wow, what a celebration it was!  🎉

I joined the chapter kickoff, which had over 50 members and prospects, led by an incredible and hardworking board that ran a fun, engaging, and well-planned program. The celebration continued with a “Rituals Night,” where we learned BBG history through a friendly competition, sang some of our favorite cheers, and — of course — enjoyed our favorite activity: eating S’POOEY!

And how could I forget one of the best birthday gifts ever — reuniting with Lucyyyy! Huge shoutout to all the BBYO mazkirim  💙.

Next stop: my final U.S. visit of the month — KIO! New state unlocked ✅

During my days in KIO, I had the opportunity to attend a parent session where we talked about the bright future ahead for Columbus. Later that evening, I enjoyed dinner with some incredible members of the regional board. The next day, we celebrated a hyped IC Launch Night! KIO not only hit their IC goal (👏) but everyone at the event got a spot in the craziness of the eight minutes sold out — all while enjoying some of Philly’s best snacks.

But the fun didn’t stop there! The next day, we kicked off KIO’s LTI, a weekend full of learning, planning, and calendaring — with a Playa Bowls açaí buffet to top it off. We sang around a bonfire, had a high-energy Movement Launch Night, and ended with a bittersweet goodbye.

After a three-hour bus ride to Indianapolis and a good night’s rest, I wrapped up my visit with a fun bagel brunch with all the chapter boards — the perfect ending to an unforgettable week.

And then… it was time for….  HOME.

Home is where I recharge — quality family time, catching up with friends, a dentist appointment ( sad but needed 😅), and just enough time to regain the energy I need to hit the road again.

So stay tuned… because next up is my Official Europe Tour Report — coming very soon! 🌍✈️
