As your 34th International Aym Ha’Chaverot and your 35th Grand Aleph Moreh, this past year has been a whirlwind of gratitude, collaboration, and milestones. From incredible success across membership campaigns to record-breaking CLTC registration, we have truly witnessed what BBYO teens can accomplish together. As we celebrate the power of teamwork, global connectivity, and shared passion, we are so excited to present our proudest successes from the past term.

This year, we had the incredible opportunity to support chapters and regions across the Order while helping welcome over 5,000 new members throughout North America, alongside continued growth around the globe. Reaching over 98.5% of our membership goal reflects the extraordinary momentum our Movement is building and the dedication of teens working tirelessly to strengthen their communities.

Beyond the numbers, this growth represents thousands of teens who will now experience the magic, leadership, and lifelong connections that BBYO provides. Every new member contributes to the legacy of our Movement, and we are proud of the work done to enhance the overall membership experience while empowering chapters to not only grow, but truly thrive. As our membership expands, so does our impact by creating stronger communities and an even brighter future for BBYO worldwide.

This year also brought exciting innovation in the way we tracked and celebrated membership success across the Order. Through the creation of the Membership Mile, an interactive hub, regions were able to better monitor progress toward their goals, celebrate achievements in real time, and stay motivated throughout recruitment.

In addition, Membership Mania proved to be one of our most successful recruitment campaigns in recent years, generating genuine excitement, energy, and momentum across the Movement. By prioritizing chapter involvement and creating opportunities for widespread participation, we saw remarkable growth and renewed enthusiasm surrounding recruitment efforts. The success of these initiatives demonstrated the power of collaboration and chapter-driven engagement in strengthening our Movement.

One of the most inspiring accomplishments this year has been the tremendous success of our summer leadership pipeline, particularly through CLTC registration. For the first time since before COVID, we surpassed our goal, with 435 teens from 45 regions around the world registered to attend CLTC this summer.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible network and coordinators (special shoutout to Alex, Mimi, Sam, Nica, Maya, and Naveh). The passion and enthusiasm surrounding summer programming this year reflects the strength of our Movement and the investment teens continue to make in leadership development. These experiences will not only deepen connections across the Order, but also inspire the next generation of leaders who will carry BBYO’s mission forward.

One major win this year was an increased emphasis on Rituals & Traditions! BBG and AZA each have a rich history built on decades of legislation, leadership, cheers, and ceremonies, which many Morim have embraced via educational programming. The widespread implementation and success of BBG/AZA Bootcamps, MIT/AIT oriented programs, and meaningful separates ceremonies have contributed to our Order becoming more deeply rooted in our histories. As we continue to move into another century of BBYO, both regional and chapter Morim have understood the importance of acknowledging our past to build a stronger foundation for our future. Approaching our 102nd year as a Movement, our gratitude for our history has never been stronger!

We have had the honor of overseeing dozens of phenomenal leaders through their involvement in the International Leadership Network. Working closely with the Chapter Founders Cohort, developing chapters have been strengthened through leadership training, innovative collaboration, and a historical conference at the 2nd Annual Chapter Founders Summit. This cohort has been instrumental in welcoming and uplifting newer communities as they join the Movement. The newly introduced Legacy Vault committee has also contributed to the stewardship of our history this past year. With the goal of preserving our invaluable traditions, this team has worked ambitiously to update Toolbox inventory and ensure more cohesive resources for future teen leaders.

The success of our membership campaigns, education initiatives, and summer goals lies in the passion and dedication of the Morim and Mekasherim across the Order. Through constant communication, collaborative network calls, and counterpart check-ins, we have been so lucky to see the Morim Network grow their skills and communities throughout the term. This team has worked tirelessly to train their own chapter counterparts, support growth on the chapter and regional levels, and put 110% into their positions. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more motivated, supportive, and talented team of counterparts this year. Thank you all for the #MorimWins, and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish in the future!

While we are beyond impressed with our Movement’s membership and teamwork, we would like to share that our triumphs are about more than statistical success. The teens that have joined our Movement this year are not just numbers, but individual leaders that will continue to uphold BBYO’s mission far beyond this term alone. Serving as your 34th International Aym Ha and 35th Grand Aleph Moreh has been the opportunity of a lifetime, and we are so grateful for the team that has gotten us here. The future of the Morim Network is in great hands with Zara and Kobi, and we can’t wait to see how much you two will accomplish alongside the next generation of Morim.
