Keeping Pace: Only the Beginning
As I lay in bed on May 30th, 2026, the clock flips to midnight. June 1st, 2026, my term as the 82nd International N’siah has officially begun. The feeling is like when you get a good grade on a test or someone compliments you. Happiness. I think about the 8th-grade girl who nervously ran for her very first board position. She had no idea that every late night, every event, and every little risk was quietly leading her here. I think about the doubts I had, the people who didn’t believe in me and the ones who did, and all the small moments that felt like nothing but were building her into who I am today. I take a breath, and I know I'm ready. Let’s do this.
Summer 2026
Senior Israel Summer
Before my world tour as N'siah even began, I spent my summer in Israel for the first time on the Senior Israel Journey Passport Trip, and I still don't have the words to fully capture it. Traveling with fellow graduating seniors headed to campuses all over the country, and alongside Israelis preparing to enter the army, I realized that none of us were facing this huge transition alone. With new friends by my side, a deeper feeling of connection to Israel, and countless memories, I came home feeling more connected, more grounded, and more ready to lead than I've ever been.
August Executive Conference
About a week later, I fully stepped into my role at August Executive Conference. Bringing the top leaders from across our movement together to prepare for the year ahead, the energy in the air was electric. I had been looking forward to Execs since my own experience last year and since my election in February, and walking in again as part of the executive body, it felt surreal to be on the other side of something that had once inspired me so much.
Running programming alongside the international board, we poured OUR HEARTS into building a weekend that would truly matter. I got to form real friendships with every single president, and with each conversation I felt more connected to the people I'm here to serve. By the end of the weekend, the role of N'siah no longer felt like a title I was waiting to grow into. It felt like mine, and I've never been more excited for the year ahead.

Connecticut Valley Region (B’Yachad)
My journey kicked off in the incredible Connecticut Valley Region (touse) for their B'Yachad chapter board training, and if you think your region is the most spirited, I can assure you CVR will give you a run for your money. From the moment I arrived, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel completely at home. Over four days, I was able to gain insight into everything CVR, connect deeply with the regional board, and make lifelong friendships and memories.
I got to connect with so many chapter leaders and their regional board, and it was amazing to see firsthand how different regions and chapters operate. With so many BBYO chapters in the region, the energy and pride in the room were impossible to miss, and every conversation taught me something new. This visit was quite literally AWESOME, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to start my time as N'siah. Thank you, goats. 🐐✌️

Greater Jersey Region (RLTC)
After a few days at home, I was back on the road, heading to Greater Jersey Region for their Regional Leadership Training Conference (RLTC). It is honestly so cool to see the chapter leaders who come in with so much motivation and passion for their chapters and regions.
Through training sessions and conversations with chapter presidents, I got to step into their shoes, whether their chapter was rebuilding or thriving. And no matter the scenario, there was no lack of passion throughout the whole region. Teens everywhere are working to build up their chapters through membership, programming, and exploring new tactics. GJR was full of lots of song sessions, an impactful BBG separates, and so many highlights.

Northwest Canada (Fall Boards)
Continuing my visits and watching chapter and regional leaders step into their roles for the year, I made my way to Northwest Canada. As this was my first time in Canada, the excitement was BUZZING through me. After a few plane delays, I finally made my way to Edmonton, Canada.
The week started with an ice cream social, and I spent time exploring everything Edmonton has to offer (and spending so much time with my host family's pets). Then came an incredible Fall Boards weekend. With sessions led by the board members themselves, learning special NWC traditions during Havdalah and BBG Boot Camp, and a fun movie night, NWC felt like a second family by the end of the weekend.
What stood out most was the teens' energy. They came in with lots of ideas, and they're bringing in an RLN (Regional Leadership Network), giving more opportunities for teens to lead in the region. It's a good example of what we're seeing across the movement: teens wanting ownership and new ways to lead and connect with each other.

Utah for the High Holidays
My visits took a quick pause as I settled in Park City, Utah, to spend the High Holidays with my family. With two weeks in one place, I was able to grow a strong connection to the local Park City synagogue, meet with alumni in the area, and take some much-needed time to reconnect with nature.

Satellite Cities Tour Begins!!
Salt Lake City/Park City BBYO
My Satellite Cities Tour began just 45 minutes away from Park City... Salt Lake City!! Salt Lake City BBYO was one I will never forget. Although they come from an area with a smaller Jewish population, their motivation and passion to bring BBYO to Jewish teens is one of the most inspiring things I have seen so far. I was able to connect closely with the chapter board over dinner to talk through priorities for the year and goals they have for their chapter. It was so exciting to share BBYO history and rituals during a BBYO Traditions Night with chapter members, giving them an introduction to our movement, how far it has come, and encouraging the idea that everyone has a role in building the future.
We then headed down to Park City for a general information night to express that Jewish teens in these small areas still have a home in BBYO. With an INCREDIBLE turnout, Salt Lake City BBYO gained 8 new members after this program. The movement needs to look out for Salt Lake City; they are growing, they are passionate, and they are eager for more and more opportunities. SLC was such an inspiring and exciting visit, and I am so excited to continue to watch them thrive over the next year.

Alby BBYO
Continuing the Satellite Cities Tour, I moved from Mountain Region to Rocky Mountain Region to visit Albuquerque BBYO. It was so interesting to see. This is an even smaller BBYO community than the ones I'd visited before, and that made the conversations with teens really meaningful.
I asked them what they're looking for in BBYO, and the answer was simple: a place to engage with other Jewish teens. They aren't asking for anything complicated. They want connection.
While I was in New Mexico, I also attended a Sukkot dinner in Santa Fe and got to spend time with the small Jewish community there.
My biggest takeaway from this visit was the insight I gained into different Jewish communities. Seeing how Jewish life looks in a smaller city was exciting for me. It reinforced why we want to welcome every Jewish teen home, no matter how big or small their community is.

Boulder/Fort Collins BBYO
Right now, I'm writing to you from Boulder, Colorado, where I'm spending time with Boulder BBYO and Fort Collins BBYO. These chapters are growing rapidly, and RMR can feel it.
The teens are looking to connect with each other, and they're doing something about it. The programming is strong and exciting, and it's clearly teen-driven. I was able to attend a goat Sukkot (omg so fun), where we got to learn about Sukkot in a different capacity, all while hanging out with goats!!
I was also able to be with RMR during IC Launch, which was INCREDIBLE. Teens are so, so eager to experience IC. When you think about IC and all it stands for and how many teens want to take part in that, it is literally insane. Even with the minor website crash, many teens will be heading to Baltimore this February for an impactful weekend.

Continuing Satellite Cities Tour + home
This journey is only beginning. This weekend, I'm headed to Boise, Idaho, to keep the Satellite Cities Tour going. After that, I'll make a quick stop at home in Baltimore for IC planning with Adi and the International S'ganim.
I can't put into words how much the people I've met so far have meant to me. Every conversation has shown me something new about what teens want from BBYO and what Jewish life looks like in different places. It has been more impactful than I ever could have imagined, and I can't wait to keep going.
Follow along with my travels and everything I'm learning at @bbgnsiah on Instagram. See you soooooooooon. ♥️♥️
