About Americas Trek
Get ready for an action-packed summer on the Americas Trek, where adventure meets impact! This thrilling journey combines the epic landscapes of our Western USA Trek program with the vibrant, biodiverse terrain of Stand UP Adventure Costa Rica. Trek through iconic national parks like the Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion, surf the Pacific waves, zip-line through lush canopies, and raft down wild rivers. Along the way, you'll also connect with local communities through meaningful service projects, creating lasting change and learning about diverse cultures. From hiking desert canyons to snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, every day brings new experiences that inspire and energize, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
Is it Right for Me?
Americas Trek is perfect for teens who are excited to explore the beauty and diversity of both the Western United States and Costa Rica, without needing to be expert hikers or outdoor enthusiasts. While the program includes some longer hikes in places like Zion National Park and Arenal Volcano, the trails are designed to be accessible to most fitness levels, and there’s no need to carry heavy gear along the way. The trip strikes a balance between outdoor adventure and cultural exploration, with much of the travel being bus-based. Whether you're hiking through iconic landscapes or engaging in community service, this trek offers a fun, active way to experience these regions while staying within your comfort zone.
