Discover the wonders of Greece on an immersive journey that blends ancient history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes. Begin in Athens, where the echoes of ancient civilizations come to life at iconic sites like the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus. Explore the bustling neighborhoods, including the historic Jewish quarter, and unwind on the beautiful beaches along the Athenian coast. Then, sail to the enchanting island of Santorini, where you’ll experience the stunning caldera views, stroll along volcanic beaches, and soak in the island's famous sunsets. Continue your adventure in Thessaloniki, exploring its rich Jewish heritage and lively waterfront, before marveling at the mystical rock formations of Meteora and the sacred ruins of Delphi, once the center of the ancient Greek world. From thrilling water sports to serene hikes and traditional Greek cuisine, this trip offers a dynamic blend of activities that showcase the best of Greece’s past and present.

We have provided the following trip overview to give you a better sense of this experience. The actual program may vary, and an itinerary will be distributed no later than two weeks before the program begins. Even after the itinerary is sent, adjustments may still be made in coordination with tour guides and the tour operator—both leading up to and during the program—based on local conditions.

Group Travel

Travel with confidence knowing that BBYO organizes supervised group flights to and from Europe. Our staff are present at departure airports to greet teens and help them feel welcome right away, and they accompany each group throughout the journey—both on arrival and on the return trip home. Athens, Greece

Welcome to Athens, where you'll explore the Athens Coast, Glyfada shopping center, and enjoy water sports at Varkiza Beach. Tour the historic center by e-bike with stops at Pnyx, the New Museum of Acropolis, and Temple of Zeus. Visit Plaka, enjoy lunch in Old Athens, and take in breathtaking views from the Acropolis. Shabbat includes time at the hotel pool or nearby beach, a buffet lunch, and a relaxing evening.

Santorini, Greece

Tour Fira and take in the Caldera Volcano view before staying in the iconic Oia Village. Enjoy a scenic tour, a cable car ride to the port, a donkey ride back, and relaxation at Kamari Beach. Sail on a Red Cruise to Red and White Beaches and the hot springs. Discover Pyrgos Village, hike from Fira to Imerovigli, swim at Perissa Beach, and explore Megalochori Village. Return to Athens via high-speed ferry.

Thessaloniki, Greece

Explore Jewish landmarks, the White Tower, and the City Center. Celebrate Shabbat with the local community and enjoy a relaxing day by the port.

Kalambaka and Delphi, Greece

Cool off at Waterland, visit the Museum of Illusions, and see the incredible monasteries of Meteora. Continue to Delphi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Delphi and Athens, Greece

Visit the Sanctuary of Delphi and Museum, then return to Athens for an evening at Allou Fun Park and a final dinner together.
