What Makes This Combination Special?
Ultimate Thailand Israel brings together two distinct BBYO Passport experiences into one extended journey across Southeast Asia and Israel. Stand UP Thailand focuses on meaningful community service, cultural discovery, and exciting outdoor adventures. From volunteering with local organizations and learning about Thailand's diverse communities to exploring Buddhist traditions, trekking through beautiful landscapes, and enjoying tropical beaches, this experience encourages teens to engage with the people and places they encounter. Through service, leadership programming, and cultural learning, participants can discover how their actions contribute to positive change.
Israel Journey offers a different perspective through BBYO's signature three-week experience in Israel. Explore the ancient history of Jerusalem, experience Tel Aviv's vibrant neighborhoods, discover the natural beauty of the Galilee and Negev Desert, and connect with Israel's diverse communities. Through cultural encounters, meaningful Jewish programming, outdoor adventures, and opportunities for service, teens will gain a deeper understanding of Israel's history, people, and traditions while strengthening their connection to Jewish identity.
Together, these programs offer something unique: the opportunity to explore the meaning of service and community in Thailand before experiencing the places, stories, and people that have shaped Jewish life in Israel.
